Analyst - Wholesale Credit Sanctioning - LevFin

Overview

Analyst role in Wholesale Credit Sanctioning for LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Funds sectors, performing independent credit assessment and decisions.

What you'll do

• Assess complex financial information and business models to determine creditworthiness.
• Monitor LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Fund portfolio performance and report early warning signs.
• Evaluate application risk profiles using industry trends, borrower financials, collateral, and market conditions.
• Document credit decisions and rationale in line with internal audit and regulatory reporting standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risks and optimise portfolio performance.
• Partner with other functions and business areas and advise decision-making within expertise.

What you'll need

• Experience in corporate credit risk assessment of global credits focused on US and/or EMEA within the LevFin/high risk domain.
• Ability to prepare annual/periodic credit reviews for submission/presentation to senior Risk Officers and Credit Committees.
• Staying current with financial analysis and risk profiles of assigned sectors, borrowers, and counterparties.
• Support senior credit officers for periodic regulatory examinations, Internal Audits, transactions, and risk initiatives.
• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
