Analytics Engineer - Finance

Overview

Analytics Engineer (Finance) to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers Finance reporting, analysis, and automation, enabling better decision-making.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data infrastructure for reporting, analysis, and automation using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Perform data QA and create automated testing procedures for Snowflake data models.
• Translate reporting and automation requirements into data model specifications.
• Partner with IT and technical stakeholders to source data from business systems and Snowflake databases.
• Architect flexible, performant data models aligned to single sources of truth.
• Contribute to data governance strategies, including permissions/security models, data lineage, and data definitions.
• Maintain documentation for data models and key metrics and drive process/data improvements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience working as an analytics, data, or BI engineer.
• Advanced SQL skills, including standardizing queries and building infrastructure for large-scale relational datasets.
• Experience using Python to parse, structure, and transform data.
• Experience with MPP databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.
• Ability to identify weaknesses in data and process and drive improvement.

Details

• In-person attendance in the Pune office is required at least 3 days per week.
