Analytics Leader

Overview

Analytics Leader to own the data and analytics function for an AI platform across product, growth, finance, and leadership. Player-coach role setting metrics, building a team, and staying hands-on with business-critical analytics.

What you'll do

• Own the company-wide analytics strategy, including a metrics framework, north-star KPIs, and reporting cadence.
• Build, hire, and lead the analytics team.
• Manage subscription and revenue analytics end-to-end, including MRR, churn, cohort retention, LTV/CAC, funnels, and usage-based billing.
• Architect and govern the data stack and partner with engineering on data quality, schema design, and pipeline reliability.
• Establish experimentation standards, including A/B testing framework and attribution.
• Deliver strategic analysis for decisions like pricing changes and market expansion.
• Build production dashboards and alerting systems used by leadership.

What you'll need

• 12+ years in analytics or data science.
• 3+ years leading and scaling analytics teams at high-growth B2C/SaaS or PLG companies.
• Deep expertise in subscription and SaaS metrics (MRR, churn, cohorts, LTV modeling, conversion funnels, usage-based billing).
• Elite SQL proficiency, including CTEs and window functions and validation across sources.
• Strong experience building analytics functions from scratch or through hypergrowth.
• Expertise with modern data stack tools including BigQuery (or similar), dbt, and product analytics tools (PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
• Experience designing and governing A/B testing programs and understanding attribution and statistical rigor.
