Application Architect

Overview

Lead enterprise application architecture for MarTech, CMS, DAM, and Content Supply Chain platforms. Define scalable cloud architectures and roadmaps across Adobe, AWS, ecommerce, security, DevOps, and connected enterprise systems.

What you'll do

• Define target architectures, reference patterns, roadmaps, and nonfunctional requirements.
• Design secure, resilient, observable, and cost-effective AWS solutions.
• Architect CMS, DAM, metadata, asset-flow, authoring, publishing, and activation capabilities.
• Define integration patterns across AEM, Workfront, Fusion, ecommerce, and enterprise applications.
• Lead design reviews, architecture governance, decision documentation, and technical-debt management.
• Guide distributed US and India engineering teams and mentor architects.
• Lead major-incident diagnosis and incorporate lessons learned into resilient designs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training.
• 8–15 years of relevant work experience.
• 7–10+ years of AWS cloud architecture experience.
• 6–8+ years designing CMS, DAM, and Content Supply Chain architectures.
• 6–8+ years defining security, governance, and integration architecture.
• 3+ years leading architecture governance across distributed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of architectural patterns, distributed systems, modern cloud platforms, and multiple programming languages.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, TOGAF, or comparable certification.
• Experience with Adobe AEM, Workfront, Fusion, DAM governance, or headless CMS.
• Experience with AI-enabled platforms, customer-data integrations, edge delivery/CDN, multi-region systems, or cost optimization.

Details

• Work onsite approximately three days per week and as required by the business.
• Work across US and India teams.
• Extended hours may be required.
