Application Engineer

Overview

Application Engineer to design sprinkler and gas suppression fire protection systems and support fire life safety sales/design activities.

What you'll do

• Design fire suppression systems in line with local codes and standards.
• Create project take-offs, interpret specifications, and define scope of work.
• Perform risk analysis, ensure building code compliance, and propose value engineering ideas.
• Review MEP drawings and tender specs to identify required fire suppression needs.
• Raise RFIs after completing input study using an input checklist.
• Prepare fire suppression layouts and engineering BOM; ensure on-time, defect-free drawings delivery.
• Execute projects independently across the lifecycle and follow defined workflow processes.

What you'll need

• BE/M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics.
• 4–8 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• NFPA certification preferred; CFPS and LPCB to be attained within 12 months of hire.
• Strong domain knowledge of fire fighting and gas suppression systems.
• Ability to design gas suppression systems including Novec, FM200, Inergen, and CO2.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Digital literacy in AutoCad, FireCad, SprinkCad, Revit, and Navisworks.
