Application Engineer

Overview

Application Engineer role in the semiconductor process diagnostics and control group, focused on detecting and disposing nanometer-size defects using advanced imaging and image-processing algorithms.

What you'll do

• Maximize performance of new defect metrology products using use-case knowledge.
• Collaborate technically with leading-edge chip manufacturing customers.
• Contribute to product development roadmap via specification definition and performance validation.

What you'll need

• Sound fundamentals of high-NA DUV imaging/SEM and light-matter/electron-matter interaction.
• Open to 70% travel to leading semiconductor chip manufacturing fabs overseas.
• Lab/fab hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication with layer-wise material and process tech knowledge.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and work independently.
