Application Engineer

Overview

Application Engineer supporting solutions for hazardous area/explosion-proof electrical equipment, including technical/commercial offers and project documentation.

What you'll do

• Evaluate customer drawings and specifications to propose solutions using Eaton standard products or ETO.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers based on customer requirements and technical documents.
• Resolve project deviations to specifications and applicable standards with customers.
• Create general arrangement drawings and bills of materials using AutoCAD or Eplan/Esplan.
• Prepare project documentation such as data sheets, certificates, and procedures for customer approval.
• Set up bill of materials in SAP from approved drawings and coordinate with material, production, and quality teams.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience with explosion proof/hazardous area electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently and with a team.
• AutoCAD or Eplan/Esplan drawing experience.
