Application Engineer I

Overview

Application Engineer I role supporting field sales with technical selection, project RFQs and application engineering for braking systems in the Mining, Marine and Defense segments.

What you'll do

• Process project RFQs and enquiries for braking systems in industrial sectors such as Mining, Marine and Defense.
• Assist Field Sales and Customer Care with non-standard requirements and recommend a feature, product or solution.
• Work out solutions based upon customer specifications.
• Chalk out deviation and compliance documents.
• Assist in creation of technical documents such as proposal drawings, GA drawings and calculation sheets.
• Hold technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support design detailing activities in the execution stage.
• Ensure Field Sales has a readily accessible technical data bank to assist in preliminary selection and technical literature.
• Pay site visits for application assessment and problem resolution.
• Work on development activities as per the Product Management roadmap.

What you'll need

• BE / B.Tech Electrical or B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in application support or design and development in the power transmission product industry.
• English and Hindi language.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Crane, Mining or Marine segment.

Details

• Fully onsite role at the designated Regal Rexnord office.
• Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• Travel whenever required.
