Application Support Engineer

Overview

Application Support Engineer role in Concentrix Catalyst, supporting L1/L2 application and cloud operations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot microservices-based applications.
• Debug queries and validate data using SQL/PostgreSQL or CloudSQL.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized environments (Kubernetes/GKE and Docker).
• Investigate issues with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub and Jenkins) including build/deploy troubleshooting.
• Use Linux command-line tools for log analysis and process management.
• Handle incident lifecycle management using ITIL processes and ITSM tools.

What you'll need

• 3 to 6 years of experience in L1/L2 Application Support, Cloud Operations, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, and microservices troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, CloudSQL, Memorystore, IAM, and Cloud Logging.
• Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL/CloudSQL for query debugging, data validation, and performance diagnostics.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools for monitoring.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker, including pod lifecycle management.
• Linux command-line proficiency for log analysis, process management, and scripting.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools for incident lifecycle management.

• Shifts: 6:30AM to 3:30PM and 2:30PM to 11:30PM.
• Location: IND Bangalore.
