Application Support Engineer

Overview

Application Support Engineer acting as a software detective to investigate and resolve issues across components of critical business systems, with a focus on Microsoft Azure PaaS.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system performance.

What you'll need

• 15 years full time education.
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed and multi-tiered application environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and incident management processes.
• Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline support tasks.
