Application Support Engineer

Overview

Act as a software detective, providing dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems, with a focus on Kubernetes.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues and minimize downtime.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and support efficiency.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.

What you'll need

• 15 years full time education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Kubernetes.
• Must have: Proficiency in Kubernetes.
• Experience with container orchestration and management in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools related to Kubernetes clusters.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, scaling, and networking within Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and improve operational workflows.
