Applications Engineer

Overview

Applications Engineer in the office at Flowserve, developing solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications and acting as a pumps product specialist within a team.

What you'll do

• Support the defined clientele in the office.
• Evaluate requests and generate solution proposals.
• Perform cost calculations, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments.
• Prepare offers technically and commercially.
• Accept, review and prepare orders (Complete Order).
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Pump Application Engineer or similar role such as inside Sales Representative or Engineer.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
• SAP knowledge.
• Experience dealing with common MS Office applications.
