Applications Support - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Applications Support Sr Analyst role providing technical and business support for Citi applications, including production support, stability improvements, and user issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Provide quick resolutions to application issues for Citi application users.
• Maintain application systems in daily operations with a focus on service-level stability, quality, and functionality.
• Perform start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, regional handover, and risk reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business/technology management.
• Support application releases from development/testing through deployment into production and perform post-implementation analysis.
• Act as a liaison between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
• Some programming language experience and willingness/ability to learn.
• Experience with issue tracking and reporting tools.
• Knowledge/experience of problem management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain technical issues for non-IT staff.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
