Application Support Senior Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Application Support Senior Analyst providing technical and business support for users of Citi applications. Owns application stability, monitoring, risk checks, documentation, issue resolution, and supports releases into production.

What you'll do

• Provide quick resolutions for application issues for Citi application users.
• Maintain applications and operating environments to meet stability, quality, and functionality targets.
• Run start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers.
• Perform same-day risk reconciliations and escalate production risks in time.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation and contingency planning.
• Participate in releases (development, testing, deployment to production) and perform post-implementation analysis.
• Liaise between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors; advise and coach analysts.

What you'll need

• 8-10 years of experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
• Some programming language experience and willingness/ability to learn.
• Analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex, dynamic information.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including explaining technical issues to non-IT staff.
• Experience with issue tracking and reporting tools and problem management tools.
• Technical skills across Windows, AIX, Linux, Oracle, MS SQL, and middleware (WebSphere, WebLogic, OpenShift, API, Java, IHS).
