AR Associate

Overview

AR Associate responsible for daily cash application in Oracle AR, validating shipment and invoices, reconciling bank vs AR, and supporting AR reporting, documentation, audits, and month-end close.

What you'll do

• Perform daily cash application in Oracle, including customer receipts, advance payments, and unapplied cash.
• Match bank receipts with customer invoices and resolve short/over payments.
• Validate shipments against invoices prior to cash application.
• Coordinate with logistics/warehouse teams to confirm shipments and flag discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service to obtain invoice-level details for incoming receipts.
• Follow up on missing remittance advice, invoice references, or payment clarifications.
• Perform regular bank vs AR reconciliation and support month-end close for AR.

What you'll need

• Experience performing cash application in Oracle AR.
• Ability to reconcile bank receipts with customer invoices.
• Ability to monitor unapplied cash, on-account receipts, and ageing items.
• Ability to prepare MIS related to unapplied cash, pending clarifications, and sales follow-ups.
• Ability to maintain documentation for cash application and adjustments.
• Ability to support internal and statutory audits with required schedules and explanations.
