Associate - Accounting

Overview

Associate – Accounting supports day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, invoice processing, month-end close, and financial reporting.

What you'll do

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for sales, inventory, and cash accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data from locations and e-commerce platforms.
• Process invoices and support timely vendor payments.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Provide audit support by preparing requested documentation and responding to audit queries.

What you'll need

• Have 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in retail accounting or a similar role.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Be proficient with ERP systems such as Oracle and use MS Excel.
• Have experience with GL accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Show analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
