Sr Accounting Specialist

Overview

Sr Accounting Specialist role focused on accurate financial records, including general ledger operations, reconciliations, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Perform monthly accounting activities aligned to the Close Calendar.
• Prepare and post accruals accurately and completely.
• Handle Intangible Assets accounting including capitalization, amortization, and related schedules.
• Manage Lease Accounting including recognition, measurement, and related reporting.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations within assigned deadlines and submit in the system.
• Support internal/statutory audit by providing audit requirements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Work on Direct Taxation and other liabilities and transaction service agreement activity.

What you'll need

• 5-7 years of experience in an accounting role with GL function experience.
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Commerce or CA Inter or CMA Inter.
• Exposure to an internal controls environment in an MNC.
• Sound knowledge of MS-Office.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of intercompany transactions and foreign expenses calculation.

Nice to have

• Preferred knowledge about IFRS & India AS.
• Experience with Oracle R12 or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
