Overview
CA Industrial Trainee role in Harman’s Finance – Record to Report (R2R) team in Bangalore, providing hands-on exposure to global accounting operations and month-end close.
What you'll do
- Perform daily accounting tasks following written instructions and guidance from the line manager or senior team members.
- Support the general ledger accounting team and collaborate with the line manager.
- Prepare and post journal entries for standard and ad-hoc month-end activities (accruals, provisions, reserves, recharges, reclasses, etc.).
- Reconcile key GL accounts and maintain GL accounts, cost centers, and WBS elements (where required in SAP).
- Reconcile balance sheet GL accounts using standard templates and provide aging analysis where applicable.
- Review and update Control documents and ensure adherence to compliance processes with zero deficiencies.
What you'll need
- CA finalists seeking 1 year industrial training.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Good interpersonal skills with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Good understanding of chart of accounts and cost objects.
- Ownership qualities in the function you lead.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word).

- Based in Bangalore.
- Eligible to work remotely up to full-time with occasional trips to the other office location on 24-hour notice.
