Area Commercial Lead

Overview

Area Commercial Lead within the General Medicines team, translating brand strategy into customer engagement initiatives for patients living with diabetes and other chronic conditions.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute customer engagement plans aligned with brand strategy and business priorities across the assigned area.
• Translate commercial and marketing strategies into actionable field initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.
• Partner closely with field teams and cross-functional stakeholders to drive seamless execution and customer-centric outcomes.
• Leverage performance metrics, customer insights, and campaign analytics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate omnichannel engagement activities, ensuring consistent customer experiences across multiple touchpoints.
• Support regional events, speaker programs, and strategic engagement initiatives while ensuring effective budget management.
• Foster agile ways of working, collaboration, and talent development to build a high-performing and future-ready team.

What you'll need

• Experience in commercial excellence, product management, customer engagement planning, sales leadership, or related pharmaceutical commercial roles.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience using data and analytics to drive commercial decisions and improve performance.
• Understanding of omnichannel customer engagement and customer-centric commercial models.
• Strong communication, influencing, and project management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
