Area SG&A Analyst

Overview

The Area Analyst SG&A drives accuracy, transparency and quality in area SG&A performance management, supporting the Area Analysis & FP&A Manager with timely insights for area leadership. The role is the area SG&A subject-matter expert across month-end, Flash, ROFO and Budget cycles.

What you'll do

• Drive the area SG&A analysis agenda in line with regional standards and partner with area stakeholders on cost governance and accrual quality.
• Standardize analysis across functions and cost centres and provide actionable insights for cost decisions and savings tracking.
• Maintain budgeting and forecasting models at UID and cost-centre level and deliver timely, accurate analysis for area and regional decisions.
• Identify automation opportunities, analyse results, and communicate cost drivers to stakeholders.
• Link the area with the Regional Analysis CoE on SG&A standards, methodology and reporting, and support standardized reports and dashboards.
• Own SG&A reports and performance reviews, including WD7 to WD9 inputs, and monitor KPIs against cost objectives.
• Ensure data integrity, accrual accuracy and comparable reporting with one-off documentation.
• Run the functional SG&A agenda with leaders, ensure budget is followed throughout the year and highlight areas of concern.
• Partner with Area FP&A Leads, ATR teams, GSC team and Country Managers, challenge unusual spends, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Own process standardization, automation and AI-enabled improvements within the process and evaluate their scalability.
• Present insights and recommendations to area leadership and influence decisions through fact-based analysis.

What you'll need

• Bachelor or Master in finance (CA / MBA-finance).
• 8+ years of experience in finance and analysis domain.
• Experience of financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Working proficiency on tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAP-BI/BW and Power BI.
