Assistant Vice President - Vermillion Developer

Overview

Assistant Vice President - Vermillion Developer for Citi’s Client Reporting Team within Global Middle Office, supporting Vermilion-based client reporting development and delivery.

What you'll do

• Gather requirements and deliver Vermilion-based client report enhancements and new reports.
• Apply application development concepts to resolve reporting issues.
• Follow and improve standardized Vermilion report development approaches to ensure accuracy and flexibility.
• Create technical specification documents and complete documentation and operational guides for approval.
• Deliver assigned work within agreed timescales and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Product, Global IT, Operations, and third-party vendors to ensure delivery standards.
• Support BAU lead and project lead with estimation, technical design, development planning, and delivery.

What you'll need

• Expertise in Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) development.
• Strong SQL and scripting skills.
• Experience working in Agile project delivery environments.
• Familiarity with client reporting lifecycle from requirements to production implementation.
• Ability to interpret BRDs and deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
• Experience creating customized templates (e.g., connectors, data sources, components, sections) and workflows.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA for managing sprints and development workloads.
