Associate - Accounting Operations

Overview

Associate for Accounting Operations within the Finance function, working with accounting operations and cross-functional finance teams in Pune.

What you'll do

• Ensure achievement of agreed SLAs for the accounting operations team.
• Identify automation opportunities within existing processes.
• Maintain and update documentation to comply with ISO standards.
• Manage month-end/quarter-end R2R processes including Fixed Assets, Revenue Accruals, Prepayment, Payroll Activities, and Intercompany.
• Coordinate with controllers and other functional teams to clear open items.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and meet global review deadlines.
• Manage audit requirements.

What you'll need

• Commerce graduate with 4+ years of work experience OR CA with 0-1 years of work experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple formats of data and large volumes of data.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have worked on Oracle/ERP.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (macro knowledge preferable) with good accounting knowledge.

• Location: Pune - Panchshil, and must be willing to work in shifts including night shifts.
