Overview

Compliance Associate for the fund and regulatory compliance function within Future Standard’s India GCC, owning day-to-day execution and helping design and improve the compliance framework for private credit and private equity strategies.

What you'll do

• Support SEC and FINRA obligations applicable to a registered investment adviser.
• Contribute to periodic regulatory filings and support policy maintenance and rule-change tracking.
• Review conflicts of interest across investments, including cross-fund allocation and co-investment conflicts, and monitor related-party transactions.
• Serve as the India point of contact for regulatory monitoring and support the US team during examinations and inquiries.
• Run periodic vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring for critical service providers.
• Review trade blotters to identify unusual trading activity, escalate exceptions, and maintain the surveillance log.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of compliance experience in asset management, alternative investments, or financial services.
• Working knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations as they apply to investment advisers.
• Strong written communication and ability to own a periodic reporting cadence with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with compliance monitoring or surveillance platforms (e.g., NICE Actimize, ACA ComplianceAlpha, Bloomberg Vault).
• Experience supporting an SEC examination, internal audit of compliance, or regulator-facing review.

Nice to have

• Private equity or private credit compliance experience, including familiarity with fund structures (LP/GP, parallel funds, feeder funds).
• CAMS, CRCM, IACCP, or equivalent compliance certification.
