Overview
Program Manager responsible for developing and reviewing global medical content end-to-end for a specific therapeutic area/category within Global MCCS.
What you'll do
- Develop and review external-facing medical affairs content for assigned area/product.
- Independently research, organize, compile, interpret, and quality check technical and medical information for drafts.
- Review others’ drafts for clarity, perspective, accuracy, appropriateness for target audience, and overall quality per guidelines/checklists.
- Train team members on writing and processes to adhere to quality standards.
- Act as functional expert and support junior team members with product-specific communication requirements.
- Provide solutions to authors, collaborate with Graphics/Compliance/statistics teams, and maintain communication with authors and MCC stakeholders.
- Ensure timely project delivery while meeting quality and compliance requirements, track project progress, and resolve issues with Senior Manager/Team Lead guidance.
- Ensure training on tools/processes including generative AI technology platforms for efficient and compliant execution of medical affairs content.
What you'll need
- Advanced scientific degree such as MRes, MPharm, MSc, PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD, or MPH.
- 5+ years of experience writing/developing medical content for pharmaceutical, academic, CRO, or biotech contexts.
- Ability to lead and execute a project end-to-end.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members and cross-cultural external stakeholders.
- Effective English verbal and written communication suitable for clear, consistent, compliant messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of how technology applies to medical content development.
