Overview
Associate Designer role in the Design team based in Mumbai.
What you'll do
- Transform and refresh workplace environments by producing creative, high-quality interior designs aligned to client goals.
- Oversee interior design projects from concept through completion, including managing budgets and schedules.
- Collaborate with Business Development Principal and Construction team to communicate design methodology and build client relationships.
- Lead and mentor junior staff on design development, client management, and career growth.
- Coordinate with internal/external consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape) to ensure seamless execution.
- Develop and review architectural documents and construction details to maintain design intent.
- Visit sites, process submittals, manage RFIs, and support construction administration.
What you'll need
- 10-12+ years of experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field, focused on corporate interiors.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit is required.
- Experience creating technical drawings and detailed material specifications and overseeing construction processes.
- Strong understanding of building codes, sustainability practices, and current design trends.
- Familiarity with FF&E and interior detailing (including millwork and finishes).
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cost plans to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
