Associate Director, Development Analytical Reporting

Overview

Associate Director, Development Analytical Reporting provides strategic and organizational leadership for clinical analytical reporting, data-review technology, and data-product capabilities across Global Development.

What you'll do

• Define and execute an analytical reporting strategy, target operating model, and multi-year roadmap for clinical reports, dashboards, visualizations, and tools.
• Lead and develop managers, technical leads, and specialist teams, including capability-building and governance.
• Establish governance for reporting solution components including data definitions, validation, deployment, lifecycle support, and retirement.
• Develop enterprise clinical data-review capabilities using reusable solutions for medical/safety dashboards, analytics, and review-ready data products.
• Influence enterprise decisions by representing Analytical Reporting on cross-functional governance bodies.
• Ensure risk-based quality and compliance for analytical solutions including ICH-GCP, data integrity, privacy/security, and audit-trail expectations.

What you'll need

• Doctorate degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 13+ years, or Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years.
• 4+ years of managerial or leadership experience with direct management of people and/or leadership of a substantial organization.
• Experience leading clinical reporting, data visualization, clinical analytics, data management, programming, data science, or digital transformation in regulated settings.
• Experience defining operating models, strategic roadmaps, and governance for enterprise reporting/analytics/data products or clinical-development technology (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of the clinical-development lifecycle and integrated data review, including EDC and external data sources, CDISC standards, and data governance (preferred).
• Technical fluency with SQL, Python, R, SAS, cloud data platforms, and business-intelligence tools (preferred).
