Associate Engineer - Embedded Software

Overview

Associate Engineer - Embedded Software (Associate Firmware/Embedded) designs and develops embedded software features, from protocol stacks and cybersecurity to reusable secure scalable code.

What you'll do

• Design and develop embedded software based on product requirements.
• Implement embedded firmware using programming languages including C (and other languages mentioned).
• Validate embedded software and perform feature enhancements.
• Contribute to project and technical execution for firmware development.
• Develop modules spanning industrial protocol stacks and cybersecurity features.
• Collaborate with global product engineering teams to execute software development.
• Participate in solution and code reviews and follow agile/waterfall plans.

What you'll need

• 0–2 years B.E. experience is mentioned.
• Demonstrated skill developing original designs with C/C++ in embedded environments.
• Experience with common 8/16/32-bit microcontroller/embedded platforms such as STM32 and ESP32.
• Hands-on electronics lab equipment experience for low-level driver development/troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, USB for integration.
• Understanding of embedded software design and firmware-to-hardware integration.
• Basic hardware design knowledge and hardware/firmware debugging skills.
• Skills: Embedded C and RTOS, plus strong communication and documentation writing.
