Associate Engineer - Industrialization

Overview

Associate Engineer - Industrialization responsible for line set-up for New Product Introduction (NPI) and for advancing manufacturing technologies, automation, and digitalization initiatives.

What you'll do

• Conduct time and motion studies to develop and implement efficient production practices.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve operational efficiency and reduce cycle time and waste.
• Review product design, engineering drawings, and specifications to develop manufacturing sequences and identify tooling/equipment/resource needs.
• Design and optimize facility layouts, including machinery and workstation arrangement to improve space utilization and workflow.
• Oversee NPI transitions and advanced manufacturing technologies from design conceptualization through initial production ramp up.
• Create future factory concepts with lean cells and smart workstations using advanced manufacturing methods.
• Plan operations and document manufacturing standard work; support production ramp-up for changing volumes.

What you'll need

• BE in Electronics with 3-6 years experience.
• Experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying Industry 4.0 methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, control plan, and APQP.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (preferred SAP).
