Record to Report

Overview

The Record to Report professional will manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting in a multinational environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for accruals, provisions, reclassifications, amortization, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate open items, and coordinate timely resolution.
• Support management reports, variance analysis, and reporting schedules.
• Perform accounts payable activities such as vendor management, invoice review, approval coordination, and supplier query resolution.
• Prepare and review aged payable reports and support intercompany reconciliations (recharges and group balances).

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance team (Record to Report/General Ledger/financial reporting/accounting/AP).
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable activities, and month-end close.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and close activities.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• ERP proficiency with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or Workday (or similar).
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
