Associate Field Service Engineer

Overview

Associate Field Service Engineer responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance contracts and service activities for industrial automation customers. The role supports ABB System 800xA DCS service execution, technical issue resolution, and customer support.

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate Annual Maintenance Contract activities using scheduling tools.
• Provide technical support for commissioning, maintenance, and service project execution.
• Diagnose and fix system issues in ABB System 800xA DCS environments.
• Manage AMC contracts and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with service commitments, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or service engineering.
• Experience with DCS/PLC and process control environments.
• At least 2 years of experience programming, testing, and commissioning ABB System 800xA DCS.
• Experience with AMC planning and execution and planning tools.
• Experience with industrial communication interfaces such as Profibus, Modbus, OPC, or IEC 61850.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Problem-solving, customer communication, technical support, and project execution skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ABB AC500, Freelance, Compact HMI, or other ABB DCS systems.
