Associate II, Life Sales at Policygenius: a remote role serving as the first point of contact for inbound phone leads from prospective life insurance customers.

What you'll do

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers via the phone
• Demystify industry jargon and make life insurance easy to understand
• Use a consultative sales approach to guide customers through the application process
• Work closely with sales teammates to solve complex client problems
• Continuously improve your performance in a metrics-driven environment, directly impacting your earnings
• Have access to consistent 1:1 coaching, ongoing learning and development opportunities, and mentorship
• Ensure prospective customers receive unparalleled service

What you'll need

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume, dialer-based sales role
• An active life insurance license
• High school diploma
• Self-motivated and ambitious
• Works well with others in a diverse, competitive peer group
• Strong multi-tasker, comfortable speaking with customers while entering data, taking notes, and running quotes in CRM
• Will to succeed in a target-driven environment with incentives based on KPIs
• Enjoys solving problems on the fly
• Tech savvy and quick to pick up new systems, including in-house CRM, Five9, Slack, and Zoom
• Natural conversationalist who keeps conversations flowing
• Welcomes feedback and values hands-on managers focused on growth
• Open to working some evenings from home
