Associate role focused on P&C insurance claim underwriting support, including claim validation, processing, record maintenance, and client communication for missing information.
What you'll do
- Review and validate insurance claim information for accuracy and completeness.
- Process claims according to company guidelines, underwriting rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with clients to collect missing details or clarifications needed for claim adjudication.
- Identify and flag errors, discrepancies, or incomplete documentation for correction or escalation.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of claims and related documentation.
- Support team members with basic claim issues and escalate complex cases to senior staff.
- Follow policies, compliance standards, and turnaround timelines for quality processing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or Risk Management and Insurance.
- Associate in Claims (AIC) certification from The Institutes (USA).
- Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) certification from the American Institute of Insurance.
- Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) certification (Vskills).
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from The International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP).
- Certified Risk Professional (CRP) certification (Udemy).
- Working knowledge of Insurance and Property & Casualty Insurance, and English (Intermediate - B1).
