Associate Project Engineer

Overview

Associate Project Engineer (Project Engineer – Automation) responsible for end-to-end engineering and execution of automation projects for energy and process industries.

What you'll do

• Execute automation projects from FEED/Concept Engineering through Detailed Engineering, FAT, SAT, Commissioning, and Project Closure.
• Deliver engineering scope aligned with contract requirements, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and cybersecurity policies.
• Act as a technical interface to end customers and stakeholders during project execution.
• Design and engineer automation systems and industrial networking with cybersecurity considerations.
• Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ABB quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of relevant experience in PLC or any DCS.
• Proven project engineer experience in automation projects and DCS/PLC.
• Demonstrated execution of end-to-end projects (FEED → Commissioning).
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemicals, or Specialty Chemicals.
• BE/BTech in Control Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel abroad as per project requirements.
