UL508A Electrical Engineer

Overview

UL508A Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to support equipment performance.

What you'll do

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts/schematics, and detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports.
• Perform engineering analysis and develop documentation for product releases.
• Specify and review engineering documentation and electrical product specifications.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of components and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with an electrical background.
• 8-10 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of relevant standards including NFPA70, NFPA79, Semi S2, S8, F47, and UL508A.
• Knowledge of power control designs and applications.
• Ability to select switchgear, protection circuits, sensors, and controllers.
• Basics communication protocol knowledge including RS232, RS485, ECAT, and ENET.
• Tools knowledge of Teamcenter (E3S).
