Associate STEM Content Analyst supporting chemistry-focused patent content work for Derwent in Chennai.

What you'll do

• Extract novel information from patents.
• Apply DWPI codes according to editorial policies and conventions.
• Meet production volume targets.
• Meet quality targets.
• Adapt to process changes.
• Identify personal technology training and development needs.

What you'll need

• Graduate degree in M.Sc Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of chemical nomenclature.
• Knowledge of chemical reactions and formulae.
• Knowledge of inorganic chemistry, catalysts, additives, and their functions.
• Knowledge of chemical drawing packages such as ISIS Draw.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with one to two years of related experience can apply.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and understanding of invention novelty in patents.

• Location: Chennai, India.
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Schedule: 9 hours per day, including a one-hour break.
