Associate Structural Analysis Engineer

Overview

Associate Structural Analysis Engineer for Boeing’s Mechanical & Structures Engineering Team in Bangalore, India (job level 2, requires 5+ years depending on education).

What you'll do

• Perform structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems as part of an integrated team.
• Conduct load calculations and analyses including static, fatigue, damage-tolerance, and vibration.
• Evaluate structural integrity using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
• Generate documentation to report analysis and test results for certification/qualification.
• Support Gated Reviews to validate quality and completeness of work packages.
• Work with FAA and Mil-Spec regulatory framework knowledge for safety and compliance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor degree in an engineering/related field or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
• 5+ years of experience in stress analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple products and external partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing comprehensive reports and proposals.
• Fluency in English and familiarity with MS Office tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Masters degree in mechanical/aerospace/applied mechanics/structural engineering.
• Experience with structural analysis of metallic and composite structures and various airframe structures.
• Experience with static and fatigue analysis.
• Knowledge of airplane operating environments.
• Experience with Boeing products.
