Asst. Manager/ Application Engineering

Overview

Asst. Manager/Application Engineering supporting HVAC equipment selection, technical proposals, and client-facing engineering guidance.

What you'll do

• Select HVAC equipment within time-bound timelines based on customer inputs.
• Review customer blueprints, tenders, and BOQs to prepare technical proposals.
• Support sales teams by answering client questions and coordinating custom builds.
• Create data sheets, compliance statements, and material submittals aligned to industry codes.
• Conduct thermal load calculations, airflow analysis, and capacity assessments to optimize mechanical system performance.
• Maintain documentation including design specifications, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor, translating client requirements into feasible designs.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience.
• Understand HVAC and have knowledge of airside products such as fan wall units, air handling units, and CRAH.
• Proficiency in psychometrics, heat load analysis, AutoCAD, and AHU selection tools.
• Basic understanding of data centre airside product requirements and applicable standards.
• Knowledge about Eurovent and AHRI certification.
