Asst Mgr, Sales - Pharma (Pharmaceuticals Sales - Cochin)

Overview

As an Asst Mgr, Sales – Pharma, you will drive primary sales in a defined Kerala territory by promoting Baxter pharmaceutical products and building demand with key healthcare stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Drive primary sales through product promotion in the assigned territory.
• Engage anesthetists, HCPs, paramedical staff, purchase authorities, distributors, and channel partners to ensure availability and demand generation.
• Develop monthly account-wise sales plans and weekly coverage/customer call plans.
• Generate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and deliver business results.
• Execute quarterly business and market activation initiatives and implement GTM plan activities.
• Build account plans, run pricing discussions, and manage distributor/channel partner performance.
• Ensure product availability and handle product quality/pharmacovigilance complaint resolution coordination.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences (B.Sc.), Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Experience in anesthesia, critical care, medical devices, surgical products, or healthcare consumables.
• Exposure to operating theatre environments and hospital procurement processes will be preferred.
• MBA or equivalent experience from a reputed institution will be an added advantage.
• Consultative selling, product & market knowledge, and strategic account management.
