Enterprise Account Executive, State & Local Sales

Overview

Drive adoption of safe, frontier AI with South and Central US state and local government agencies, owning consultative enterprise sales from outreach through deployment.

What you'll do

• Drive new business and revenue growth within state and local government agencies.
• Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment.
• Navigate state and local government procurement requirements, including regulations and security standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across state, county, and municipal agencies.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to agency missions and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with cloud service providers and system integrators to support deployment and integration.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams and maintain sales playbooks.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in the state and local government space.
• Deep understanding of state and local government agency missions, challenges, and technology needs.
• Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution.
• Experience navigating complex state and local procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets in state and local government.
• Extensive experience with state and local government contracting vehicles and procurement mechanisms.
• Familiarity with state-specific data privacy laws and security compliance frameworks.
