Overview

As a Key Account Specialist (Facial Aesth.), you analyze payer/provider account situations and use those insights to build strategic engagement plans, support contracting/tendering, and improve deal and access outcomes for AbbVie products.

What you'll do

• Analyze each account’s decision-making complexities, pressures, and opportunities.
• Communicate predicted payer/provider decision drivers and unmet needs to brand teams.
• Assess cross-functional impacts of changes in the payer/provider environment for IFTs and brand teams.
• Build trusted relationships with payers/providers to anticipate access barriers.
• Identify opportunities and collaborate to create win-win contracting and tendering partnerships.
• Negotiate, close, and sign deals and/or support contracting and tendering processes.
• Track execution and impact of key account activities to improve bottom line results.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business field, or equivalent.
• Relevant sales or consultative selling experience in biotech/pharmaceutical.
• Ability to translate strategies into actionable key account engagement plans.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams (in-field).
• Ability to negotiate, close, and sign contracting and tendering deals with key accounts.
• Analytic, business planning, and financial acumen skills; knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles.
• Ability to understand payer/provider mindset and decision-making process; English proficiency for non-English speaking countries.

• Demonstrated key account (payer/provider) experience strategically and long term in relevant local context.
• Leadership experience within key account decision-making processes in contracting/tendering situations.
