Assurance Associate 2 - Financial Institutions

Overview

Assurance Associate 2 (Financial Institutions) role focused on delivering timely, high-quality audit services and supporting audit engagements for clients.

What you'll do

• Perform audit procedures and tests in line with the RSM audit plan and methodology.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and discuss them with the audit in-charge.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters with the engagement team.
• Ensure work documentation meets firm quality standards.
• Coordinate and help execute audit work plans and client deliverables.
• Communicate daily with supervisors and senior management in the U.S. on engagement matters.
• Participate in multiple projects and collaborate across teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s in Commerce.
• CA-qualified track: 0-1 years relevant experience (or non-qualified: 1 year of relevant experience).
• CA/ACCA/CPA or similar qualification is referenced as a requirement by path.
• Strong data analytical skills with advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, basic formulas), plus Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to have

• Preferred: CA/ACCA/CPA freshers who have successfully achieved certification.
