Assurance Supervisor 1 - Consumer Goods

Overview

Assurance Supervisor to lead and oversee audit work for client engagements, delivering timely, high-quality service and supporting associates’ development.

What you'll do

• Provide timely, high-quality client service within client engagement teams.
• Develop client relationships and understand complex business and accounting challenges.
• Perform audit procedures and tests per the audit methodology, including proper documentation.
• Identify audit and accounting risks/issues and discuss them with engagement teams.
• Research technical accounting issues and develop industry expertise.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters while exercising professional judgment and skepticism.
• Coordinate audit work plan execution and provide supervision, training, and development for associates.

What you'll need

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and audit.
• Bachelor’s in Commerce.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / Licensed CPA.
• Strong technical accounting skills including GAAP and GAAS.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to ensure documentation compliance with firm quality standards.

Details

• Role involves frequent communications with RSM International clients and United States-based engagement teams.
• Requires adherence to the code of ethics during engagements.
