Assurance Supervisor 1 - PE Funds

Overview

Assurance Supervisor for PE Funds, working within client engagement teams to deliver timely, high-quality assurance services.

What you'll do

• Provide timely, high-quality client service as part of engagement teams across industries.
• Understand client needs, accounting and control systems, and relevant GAAP/GAAS issues.
• Perform audit procedures and tests in line with the RSM audit methodology and plan.
• Identify risk and accounting/auditing issues and discuss them with engagement teams.
• Research technical accounting issues and develop industry expertise.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters and ensure documentation compliance with quality standards.
• Provide supervision, development training, and professional oversight for associates.

What you'll need

• Bachelors in Commerce (with either 6+ years relevant experience, or CA/ACCA/CPA-qualified experience as specified).
• Strong technical skills in accounting, including GAAP and GAAS.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English for frequent client/team communications.
• Ability to exercise professional skepticism and judgment and adhere to the code of ethics.
