Autocad Engineer

Overview

Support CHR AutoCAD design needs for productive review, fabrication, and system upgrades. Manage and secure design information while contributing to engineering and project operation tasks.

What you'll do

• Compile design data and translate it into AutoCAD/Solidworks designs.
• Ensure designs comply with group SHE and other designated standards.
• Standardize parts to minimize group spare parts inventory.
• Present AutoCAD/Solidworks designs and actively participate in technical reviews.
• Review application usage efficiency with stakeholders and improve designs over time.
• Compile, store, and file design data/information in a design library to secure IP.
• Plan, organize, supervise, and follow up engineering and project operation tasks, including progress reports.

What you'll need

• Ability to create and translate design data into AutoCAD/Solidworks designs.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for group SHE and designated local standards.
• Experience standardizing parts to reduce spare parts inventory.
• Experience presenting designs and participating in technical review discussions.
• Ability to compile, store, and manage design data for IP and information filing.
• Ability to supervise and monitor scheduled engineering/project work and provide progress reports.
• Willingness to travel.
