Application Benchmarking Engineer

Overview

Application Benchmarking Engineer responsible for benchmarking studies, application design analysis, and market intelligence reporting for global teams.

What you'll do

• Conduct benchmarking studies including application design analysis versus competitor products using benchmarking databases such as A2MAC1.
• Support customizing standard products and processes to meet unique customer requirements.
• Collect and consolidate benchmarking data on automotive manufacturers, competitors, and the marketplace into reports and presentations.
• Perform data mapping studies connecting solutions of major Global Automotive OEMs and share benchmarks with Global Sales teams.
• Review market solutions using worldwide automotive data to identify design insights, competitor risks, and technology/package/system/material concepts.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4/5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of automotive applications.
• Competency in Computer Aided Design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and database administration tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI (Fabric) and Salesforce.
• Excellent English communication skills.
