Automation Engineer - Digital Process Automation (DPA)

Overview

Automation Engineer for Digital Process Automation (DPA) in Roche’s Workflow Automation team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-scale automation solutions in an Agile environment.

What you'll do

• Design and develop complex automation workflows using the Pega platform or similar technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize system performance for reliability.
• Design and maintain secure REST/SOAP API integrations with internal or external data sources.
• Monitor production processes and implement continuous improvements and performance tuning.
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies to refine technical stories and provide estimates.
• Ensure security compliance by implementing solutions aligned to global security and data privacy standards.

What you'll need

• Approximately 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years focused on DPA or BPM platforms.
• Mandatory Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification or equivalent expertise (Appian or Camunda).
• Understanding of web services, microservices architecture, and JSON/XML data structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
