Automation Engineer, Manager

Overview

Hands-on QA Automation Engineer (Officer level) responsible for end-to-end quality validation, including manual and automated testing, within Agile Scrum teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and scale automated test frameworks and regression suites.
• Execute automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests via CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform hands-on UI automation testing using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
• Maintain manual and automated test suites across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Interpret automation results, log defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Test REST APIs, microservices, Azure Functions, and serverless workflows with initial cloud troubleshooting.
• Write SQL queries to validate data correctness and support root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software QA experience with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Proven hands-on individual contributor experience (not a people-management role).
• Strong UI and API automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured, or equivalent).
• Strong test framework expertise (e.g., TestNG, Cucumber, BDD-style frameworks).
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Ability to write SQL queries for validation and perform defect analysis.
