Automation Test Engineer (Selenium, Java, SQL) – 4+Yrs

Overview

Software Test Analyst role on the Billing and Funding (Maverick) team, covering manual and automated testing of payments software.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Identify, document and track defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them
• Ensure new scripts are updated and integrated in the test automation pack
• Investigate and report defects/bugs discovered, following re-test after fix
• Deliver regular progress/status reports as required
• Work as an individual contributor with minimum supervision
• Mentor junior team members

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in software testing with focus on both manual and automated testing
• Experience with testing frameworks, Selenium
• Manual testing, automation tools, SQL queries
• Programming language: Java
• Good verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills

Nice to have

• Programming language: Python
• Jenkins, AWS, Kafka (basic knowledge)
• Fintech/Payments domain
