AWS Engineer – Cloud Architecture, Migration, Terraform/CloudFormation & Hybrid Infrastructure

Overview

Senior AWS Engineer focused on designing, migrating, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructure in hybrid environments.

What you'll do

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions for security, scalability, availability, and maintainability.
• Lead or contribute to migration initiatives for enterprise data center infrastructure, application workloads, and databases.
• Assess existing infrastructure/workloads and define migration approaches, sequencing, dependencies, and target-state architecture.
• Support migration of IBM WebSphere, .NET, Java, and Node.js workloads to AWS environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments across enterprise and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and/or Terraform.

What you'll need

• 8–15+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on AWS architecture and migration project experience.
• Expertise in enterprise data center infrastructure and Windows and Linux administration.
• Experience supporting or migrating IBM WebSphere, .NET, Java, and Node.js workloads.
• Experience planning and executing Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server migrations.
• Strong networking knowledge including DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and Direct Connect.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.

• Role includes hybrid and multi-environment cloud architecture (preferred).
