Azure/AWS Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, building, and evolving Azure/AWS cloud platform foundations, guardrails, and capabilities for client operations.

What you'll do

• Architect and build cloud foundations and platform capabilities across client environments.
• Define secure-by-design patterns, guardrails, and platform standards for Cloud Operations.
• Design resilience and continuity, including backup/restore strategy and disaster recovery.
• Own and evolve infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices and tooling standards.
• Provide specialist guidance for complex incidents, major changes, and architecture-impacting decisions.
• Assess and respond to critical CVEs and security advisory items, coordinating with dentsu EMEA security when required.

What you'll need

• Proven experience architecting and running cloud infrastructure in a professional services or managed operations context (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Strong IaC proficiency (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent) and secure-by-design cloud pattern understanding.
• Deep understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices including incident, change, problem management, and SLA governance.
• Experience handling critical escalations and acting as a senior technical interface with clients.
• Ability to work across strategic platform design and hands-on technical input when required.
• Comfort in a multi-client environment with contractual obligations (SLAs, NIS2, data processing).
• Strong written and verbal English communication; Danish is an advantage.
